About Us:
We are Alan and Dota Williams, fully qualified luthiers who studied at Newark School of Violinmaking. Between us we have over 50 years of professional experience with stringed instruments. We have worked in many different workshops around the world on a huge range of stringed instruments. We are meticulous in our attention to detail when working on violins, violas and cellos. Over the years we have built up a vast experience dealing with countless instruments and their very many players – all of them unique in their own way. All this experience translates into a very well set up and carefully made or selected instrument for you.
